EALL 440. Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Phonetics. 4 Credits.
This course introduces students to the articulatory and acoustic analyses of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean sound systems. Students acquire knowledge of the sound systems of the three languages and to engage in the examination of current issues involving Chinese, Japanese and Korean phonetics.
Requisites: Prereq: One from CHN 103, JPN 103, KRN 103.
