DANC 150. Contemporary Foundations. 1 Credit.

This studio technique course explores the components of Contemporary Concert Dance, emphasizing concepts of embodied anatomy, neuromotor control, and motor learning in reference to the proper and healthy use of the body. It includes the investigation of rhythm, space, gravity, energy, and motion as well as improvisation.
Repeatable 5 times for a maximum of 6 credits

Dance Minor

The Dance minor includes study in all four areas of the dance curriculum, technique, performance, creative practice, and theory.  The minor requires 26-credit hours of Dance and is designed for students who want to focus primarily in another area of study, while also pursuing their interest in dance.
