The American English Institute provides English as a second language (ESL) instruction to nonnative speakers of English. It offers teaching, training, and employment opportunities for graduate students in ESL methodology, second-language acquisition, and curriculum development as well as research opportunities in the acquisition and teaching of language and related fields.
