This excitement can help motivate students to learn and use languages outside of the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Games also challenge and motivate learners to use language in meaningful ways. Studies have shown that game-based approaches to learning develop social skills, improve deep knowledge, and provide better outcomes for learners.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/games2teach.uoregon.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Games2Teach<\/a> makes it easy for teachers to include digital games into their curriculum. The games included are mainstream, easy to find, and easy to download games. Learners must use the target language and social interaction to play the games, which makes them a rich context for language and culture learning.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/games2teach.uoregon.edu\/download\/classroom-activities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Games2Teach website<\/a> offers classroom-ready activities for Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced learners of seventeen languages to accompany these games. <a href=\"https:\/\/games2teach.uoregon.edu\/download\/professional-development\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The website<\/a> also provides pedagogical support for educators, such as how to adapt teaching styles and how students can learn languages more effectively.<\/p>\n<p>The first resource of its kind, <a href=\"https:\/\/games2teach.uoregon.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Games2Teach<\/a> applies game-based learning to a world language context. The site began as a collaborative project between CASLS and the <a href=\"http:\/\/cercll.arizona.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Center for Educational Resources in Culture,
